State Issues Limited Stay at Home Order to Slow Spread of COVID-19
In light of the recent rise in COVID-19 cases across California, this afternoon Governor Gavin Newsom and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced a limited Stay at Home Order requiring that non-essential work, movement and gatherings stop between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. in Purple Tier counties. This order will apply locally as Orange County returned to the Purple Tier on Tuesday, November 17. The limited order will take effect at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21 and remain in effect until 5:00 a.m. December 21. This order is similar to the March Stay at Home Order but applies only between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. For additional information regarding the State’s COVID-19 response, please visit: https://covid19.ca.gov/.
