Regional Stay at Home Order Remains In Effect to Slow Spread of COVID-19

Orange County, along with ten other Southern California counties, were originally placed under the State’s Regional Stay-at-Home Order on December 3, 2020, when ICU capacity fell below 15 percent. Last week, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced that the Southern California region will remain under the order until such time that hospital ICU capacity reaches above or equal to 15 percent and when those numbers are projected to be sustained for at least four weeks. Orange County residents should continue to stay at home as much as possible and not gather with other households to reduce exposure to COVID-19.
