Orange County Returns to Purple Tier and Updated Face Covering Guidelines
Today, Governor Gavin Newsom and state public health officials announced a majority of California counties, including Orange County, will be returning to the Purple Tier of the Governor's Blue Print for a Safer Economy. To slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, effective tomorrow, November 17, certain business sectors will be required to modify operations. Additionally, the California Department of Public Health has issued updated face covering guidance which requires a face covering to be worn at all times outside the home, with some exceptions.
