Lieutenant Bulanek is a 25-year veteran of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Some of Lieutenant Bulanek’s career highlights include Administrative Lieutenant for Custody Operations, Watch Commander, Range Sergeant, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Sergeant, Tactical Officer at the Orange County Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy, school resource officer, special enforcement team and patrolman. He has been a faculty member at Santa Ana College for the past 10 years. Lieutenant Bulanek believes in a community-based policing approach to law enforcement and promoting a police/community partnership to improve the overall quality of life in the community. Lieutenant Bulanek is a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute. He holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Administration of Justice and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
