Public Health Officials Lift Regional Stay at Home Order for All Regions
Today, January 25, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) ended the Regional Stay at Home Order, lifting the order for all regions statewide, including the Southern California region. Four-week ICU capacity projections for Southern California are currently above 15%, the threshold that allows regions to exit the order. This action allows Orange County to return to the guidelines provided by the Blueprint for a Safer Economy and color-coded tiers that indicate which activities are permitted and which businesses may open. Nearly all counties exiting the Stay at Home Order, including Orange Country, remain in the most restrictive, Purple Tier. Services and activities such as outdoor dining and personal services may resume immediately with required modifications. See the State's website to find the status of activities open in Orange County.
