IMPORTANT UPDATE 11/30/20:  No encroachment or transportation permits will be processed or issued from December 17 to January 3, resuming January 4, 2021.
For encroachment permits, no work will be allowed within the city between December 19 and January 3, resuming January 4, 2021, as no inspections will be performed between December 19 and January 3, resuming January 4, 2021, due to the City Hall holiday closure.
Therefore, based on the minimum three-business day lead time for processing, the last day to submit a complete transportation permit application for issuance by December 16 will be Friday, December 11 .  For a complete encroachment permit application, processing times will vary based on the complexity so please plan ahead.

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the processing of encroachment/transportation permits may be delayed.  Please expect a minimum 3-business day turnaround/review on complete applications.  On more complicated encroachment permits that require Traffic Control or additional field research, a longer than three-business day turnaround/review may be required.

Your patience during this time is greatly appreciated.
