ASAP is a group of community volunteers dedicated to enhancing the San Juan Capistrano experience for residents and visitors.
ASAP first started in 1992 to provide auxiliary support to Police Services. Today, ASAP has expanded its role in the community to become an integral part of City special events like the Swallow's Day Parade, July 4th Celebration, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, and the San Juan Summer Nites Concert Series. The volunteer team also serves as downtown ambassadors directing the public to available parking, shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities, as well as encourages the use of the City’s summer trolley service. Additionally, ASAP volunteers host the Train Depot Information Kiosk, soon to be implemented Los Rios Park Information Kiosk and provide administrative and public reception services at the City’s Police Services building.
The ASAP program welcomes adult volunteers who are passionate about San Juan Capistrano and wish to share our vibrant, historic community with others. To learn more about volunteer assignments, please complete the form below and you will be contacted with additional information.
