Information and Resources for Residents Regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Public Safety:

Emergency response services remain fully staffed and operational.

In the event of an emergency dial 9-1-1. For all other non-emergency matters, contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch at (949) 770-6011.

Residents that wish to report restaurants not following the Governor's Executive Order may file a complaint with the OC Health Care Agency at (714) 433-6000 or through the online portal: https://www.ochealthinfo.com/eh/home/complaints. All other complaints should be reported to the Sheriff's Department.

Should I Wear a Face Covering?: On April 9, County of Orange Health Officer Dr. Nichole Quick issued a recommendation strongly encouraging all residents engaged in essential activities outside the home to wear a face covering. The recommendation is in accordance with guidance issued by the California Department of Public Health and is intended to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by those who are asymptomatic. A face covering is material that covers the nose and mouth. It can be secured to the head with ties or straps, or simply wrapped around the lower face. Face coverings may be purchased, sewn or improvised using household items like scarfs, t-shirts, or towels. Please remember not to purchase N95 masks or surgical masks. These items should be reserved only for first responders or health care providers.

Parking Violations:

The City has suspended issuance of citations for street sweeping parking violations.

Fire Station #7:

All Orange County Fire Authority facilities will be closed to the public for the next seven days.  This closure includes all fire stations, including Station #7 at 31865 Del Obispo Street. All station tours, school visits and attendance at community events will be rescheduled or cancelled. This decision will be re-evaluated in a week to determine if it will be extended.  Emergency response services remain fully staffed and operational.
