Information and Resources for Residents Regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Guidance for Outdoor Recreation:
It’s okay to go outside for a walk, exercise, and participate in healthy activities as long as you maintain a safe physical distance of six feet and gather only with members of your household. City basketball courts, tennis courts, parks and trails are open if you are able to maintain social distancing guidelines. Signage has been placed at these locations to encourage social distancing.
City athletic fields remain closed to large groups, private sports clubs and organized activities, including youth sports practices. Playgrounds also remain closed as they are considered "high-touch" areas where social distancing is difficult to implement. For additional information and a list of outdoor recreation activities, please visit the state’s COVID-19 resource webpage. For questions, please contact the Community Services Department at (949) 493-5911.
