Tree Lighting Celebration - December 7

The City will kick-off the holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, December 7, at Historic Town Center Park located at 31852 El Camino Real. Festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. with pre-show entertainment, followed by a musical holiday production. The actual tree lighting takes place at 5:45 p.m. After the tree lighting, enjoy holiday activities throughout the downtown such as photos with Santa, a “trackless” train ride through Los Rios Park, puppet show, storytime with Mrs. Claus and more. Many downtown merchants will be offering extended shopping hours. Parking is limited, so visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the free shuttle and trolley services offered. City shuttles will pick-up visitors from a Park and Ride location at JSerra Catholic High School, located at 26351 Junipero Serra Road. Please see attached map for the shuttle route. The City’s trolley services will stop along the normal summer route with one additional stop at Capistrano Trading Post.
