Applications are now being accepted from the residents of the City of San Juan Capistrano who are interested in serving on the City Council appointed Youth Advisory Board.  Youth Member appointees serve a one year appointment, and take office in September to coincide with the school year.  Adult Advisor appointees serve a two year term until September 2020.  Fifteen youth member vacancies and two adult advisors vacancies exist on the Youth Advisory Board. The Board serves as a liaison between the City's youth and the City Council. Only youth members are voting members. The Board submits recommendations to the City Council for special events, programs, and fundraising events. The Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.  Applications are available HERE on the City's website and at the Office of the City Clerk, located at 32400 Paseo Adelanto.

Application forms will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018. All questions concerning the commission or the application process should be directed to the City Clerk’s Office at (949) 493-1171.
